GLASCRETE TILE

Spartan tiles are now available made with recycled crushed glass. This replaces the natural aggregate.

One of the benefits of using crushed glass in this context is that all colours of recycled glass can be used - green, brown, blue, clear. Whereas this does not colour the tile density it does create an attractive finish. The properties of glass - lower absorption of moisture, relatively hard and non-variable - make it particularly suitable for a pedestrian roof tile.

The glascrete tile has the same characteristics and properties as our concrete tile. Extensive trials are being carried out and we offer this product as a reliable, sustainable and environmentally friendly product.

The technical specifications and laying instructions are the same for the glascrete tile and our original product.
